UC Berkeley Art Museum: “Hippy Modernism: The Struggle for 
Utopia,” the paintings of Michael Armitage, “Slow Reading/Slow 
Seeing - poems and works of art", and “Buddhist Art From the Roof of the World: Transmission of the Dharma.” This major exhibition provides a comprehensive exploration of the counter culture of the 1960s and the 1970s and its impact on global art. It includes experimental furniture, immersive environments, alternative magazines and books, and films.

Bus leaves from City Hall parking lot at 10:15 a. m. and returns at 3:00 p. m. Everyone pays trip expenses, such as lunch, museum entrance fees, etc. on their own. Sausalito Village members pay $10 and non-Sausalito Village members pay a fee of $20 for a seat in the van. Exact change is preferable.

Admission to the museum is $10 for non-museum members. Lunch is on your own but the museum cafe comes recommended. Please contact Pat Christopherson at or 415-729- 9111 by March 23 to reserve a seat on the van.
