In the spirit of deepening our exploration of end-of-life issues,
we cordially invite you to a
Eat cake, drink tea, discuss death.
Death Cafes are the brainchild of Bernard Crettaz, a Swiss sociologist and anthropologist. Since the first one in 2004 (café mortel), some 4400 have been conducted in 47 countries with participants of all ages. These gatherings, quite often of total strangers, have no agenda or goal except to encourage open discussion about life’s most challenging conundrum.
With the guidance of two experienced facilitators, Jim Van Buskirk and Wilford Welch – we will take it wherever you want it to go: practical, metaphysical, philosophical, spiritual? Whatever! Join us! Cake is guaranteed.
